Cosmopolite 2 s'adresse à un public de grands adolescents et adultes. Il correspond au niveau A2 et au tout début du niveau B1 du CECRL et représente 120 heures d'enseignement/apprentissage. À la fin de Cosmopolite 2, les étudiants peuvent se présenter à l'épreuve du DELF A2. La méthode adopte une perspective actionnelle dans laquelle chaque dossier, composé de 8 dossiers au total, propose des projets de classe et des projets ouverts sur le monde, permettant d'acquérir et de mobiliser des savoirs, savoir-faire, savoir agir et des compétences générales, langagières et culturelles.
