The greater emphasis on advanced imaging required an expansion of one prior chapter into three separate new chapters: Chapter 4, Computed Tomography; Chapter 5, Magnetic Resonance Imaging; and Chapter 6, Diagnostic Ultrasound. Each chapter provides a concise explanation of the technology, how to view the images, and the clinical applications of each. Of note in Chapter 4 is the addition of 16 brain scans.
