One of the oldest chronicles of humanity is the ancient history of Khorezm, rich in diverse events. Within this ancient narrative, the rise of Khorezm to greatness and its subsequent decline due to foreign invasions are pivotal themes. Additionally, this sacred land has been the birthplace of prominent scholars who have made significant contributions to global knowledge, with their prolific works taking the great share of the history scene. The second volume of the historical work titled by the author: "Khorezm: Advancement and Decline," which is a part of the series of the work "Khorezm Chronicles" is dedicated to elucidating this critical period in the history of Khorezm. The current volume provides an extensive account of the heroic fight of Khorezmshah Sultan Jaloliddin Manguberdi against the Mongolian invaders.
